Enco DAD

This article will give you the information in order to setup the integration with your Enco DAD playout automation software.

Integration with Enco DADI is carried out through the XML file and PADapult software. PADapult sends such parameters as the type of playlist element and various metadata to this MultiCam.

Configure PADapult

First, you need to enable TCP/IP socket.

On the top left part of the interface click on checkbox: TCP/IP Socket. And enter the IP address of the MULTICAM Server and port.

After you need to set up the next settings:

• XML File Type - RAW
• Enable XML
• Enable - Initialize I/O on Accept

As you see on the screenshot below:

And click: “ACCEPT” button.

Configure MultiCam Radio

Once you have started MultiCam Radio, enter the Radio settings, then pick the PROGRAM section and the SOURCE tab:

Configuration is straight forward: you first pick "Enco DAD" as your source.

Make sure port is the same as specified in MULTICAM RADIO Settings after choosing EncoDAD as a program source. Default port value is 8051.

Make sure you have the same port specified on both systems.

Once you press UPDATE, you should start receiving data. You can monitor this on the LIVE TEST tab.
