The required drivers versions for the 10.3 releases are:
- Blackmagic's drivers accepted:
- 15.0
- 15.1
- 15.2
- 15.3
- 15.3.1
Version 10.4.1 – 2026/04/20
FEATURES
General
- Updated audio/video engine to 2.11.0.14442.
- Updated required Blackmagic drivers’ versions to be any version between 15.0 and 15.3.1 included
- Added a new licensable feature: continuous auto-framing. When used, this will track a person automatically with customizable behavior.
- When a joystick movement is detected while the continuous auto-framing is running, the continuous auto-framing will be toggled off in order to prioritize manual input.
- Updated log4net to 3.3.0 to fix vulnerability CVE-2026-40021
Studio
- Instantaneous auto-framing is replaced (for now) with continuous auto-framing when the option is licensed and enabled in the global settings. The button color is yellow when this is running.
Radio / Conf
- Reworked the “AI” tab to include a specific UI to define the new continuous auto-framing behavior and which presets it needs to be applied to.
- Added an option to explicitly toggle on or off the continuous auto-framing on the currently live shot. Once the live shot is changed, the AI will again respect the settings.
- Added an option to delay the start of the continuous-auto-framing. Default is 1 second before it starts running.
- Added an option to use the previously auto-framed last position instead of the default preset. Please note that the default preset will still be used if there is nobody in last auto-framed position.
API
- (Camera controller) Add route to toggle continuous auto-framing (when allowed) per source. Please ensure you have a GPU adapted to your use case when using this or this will have dire consequences on the machine’s performances.
- (Camera controller) Add routes to explicitly enable and disable continuous auto-framing (when allowed). This is an alternative to the “toggle” route for more explicit control.
- (Radio / Conf controllers) Add route to temporarily disable continuous auto-framing. Note: this route cannot enable the option when it is disabled in the settings. It’s a temporary “off” switch only.
Pilot
- Instantaneous auto-framing is replaced (for now) with continuous auto-framing when the option is licensed and enabled in the global settings. The button color is yellow when this is running.
- Improve readability of the axis’s selector for sequences.
- Improved sequence handling by invalidating prepared sequences after manual device movement (via multicam controls). This prevents sequences from starting at an unintended position, which could otherwise lead to abrupt or high-speed movements.
- Sequence preparation is now only valid if a device did not fail to recall the starting position.
BUGFIXES
General
- Fixed the port used for cameras when using the IP mode being reset after each start.
- Attempt a fix for extremely rare case of a media deletion partially failing resulting in a medialist UI being inconsistent with the real medialist in the backend (end result is launching a media playing a different one).
- Fixed an issue where switching between scenes with identical composition structures could result in the mixer using media from the previously active playlist instead of the current one.
Assist
- Fixed media index not being properly updated in UI under certain conditions.
Studio / Conf
- Fixed using the API to force or toggle the automation mode being able to bypass room selection and system initialization (thus ending either with a crash or a partially initialized module and a risk of configuration corruption)
