Latest release notes can be found here: https://support.multicam-systems.com/hc/en-us/articles/9266176575260
The required drivers versions for the 9.8 releases are:
- Blackmagic's Desktop Video 12.4.2
- (optional) To enable 3 GPU encodings on the nVidia P6xx, please use at least to the December 2022 version: R525 U2 (527.27)
Version 9.8.3 – 2023/08/03
FEATURES
Common
- Added support for the mCam3
- Added ability to change some color settings and exposure with the Spirit Remote knobs
- Tracks in audio mixer will now be disabled if we are able to detect that the backend doesn’t have a matching audio track (to be clear: this will not detect if silence is coming in)
BUGFIXES
Common
- Fixed a focus issue that could happen when closing the Audio Mixer. Sometime the wrong window could take the focus back
- Fixed notification stealing the focus when editing some text and a toast notification appears
- Non-API data will no longer be logged when requested through the API (could happen when opening Swagger and images, fonts etc… are downloaded)
- Fixed an extremely rare crash that could happen when initializing audio sources and at least two audio sources are made available at the very same time
- Fixed an extremely rare crash that could happen when initializing the same medialist twice at the same time (for example, this could happen when launching Assist along Studio with a particular composition file)
Studio
- Fixed medialist’s UI being stuck after adding a media (since 9.8.1, fixed in 9.8.2 hotfix)
- Fixed medialist width going out of the window and making it impossible to define in/out points when a media has a very long name
Radio
- Fixed two presets sometime being in “edit” mode when entering the settings
Version 9.8.2 – 2023/07/18
BUGFIXES
Common
- Fix silent error that may happen when removing a media while another media removal was still ongoing in the background.
- Reduced time to initialize NDI sources, but only if ALL video sources are NDI.
- Fix undetected Contour Shuttle devices
API
- Removed one of the POST methods to select a medialist. The route expected a medialist’s ID in the request’s body but it couldn’t be retrieved. The only route to be used to select a medialist is /api/v3/medialist/selected/{medialistId}.
Radio
- Fix not being able to immediately score a solo preset after changing its type from Beauty to another scorable type
- Fix incorrect presets being deleted too early after upping the minimum number of solo presets on a mic
- Fix incorrect error when starting to create a solo preset on a mic then switching to another mic to fully create one. The incomplete former preset is now deleted without raising an error
Version 9.8.1 – 2023/07/04
FEATURES
Common
- Added custom cropping of Composer elements
Radio
- Added API to enable or disable the auto-framing performed automatically by the AI before setting a preset live.
- Added a solo mic framing filter to auto-framing. You can now apply only on close-up or medium presets instead of all kind of solo presets.
InSitu
- Added a feature to display and move a pointer in the output. Pointer graphic can be customized in the settings.
BUGFIXES
Common
- Fixed ability to visually unselect the first room in the settings.
- Improved size manipulation of Titler and Composer elements
- Fixed reverting modifications performed on the first composition not refreshing the preview
Studio
- Fixed incorrect UI state when taking a compo then editing and saving it. The compo tab was incorrectly displayed as live since 9.6.22.
- When editing a compo file with a live compo, the source to take in replacement of the compo is requested among initialized sources.
- Adding multiple medias at once and closing Studio before they’re completely added will now wait until the new medias are loaded. In case an error happens while closing, the message will automatically close instead of freezing the UI.
- Fixed initialization error if an unnamed playlist file is found.
Radio
- Fixed auto-titling data manipulation while sorting the grid.
Version 9.8.0 – 2023/06/19
FEATURES
Common
- Devices used for input or output are now displayed as “already in use” in the settings. It is also now impossible to select a device for input which is used as an output source (except when a card supports both output and input)
- Reduced timeout when a Multicam mCam2 isn’t detected
- SPIRIT section in input bindings UI is now always displayed instead of being hidden when no SPIRIT devices are detected
- You can now declare up to 5 audio outputs instead of one
- Setting the in/out of medias will now refresh the media’s thumbnail so that the thumbnail always displays the first frame shown on the output
Radio
- Removing a rated preset will maintain rating consistency
Titler
- Removed Twitter support. If one of your titler sets uses a Twitter data source, the source will be removed, and the group won’t have any data after migration.
BUGFIXES
Common
- Fixed cloning a media that is currently live setting the live flag on the cloned media
- Fixed a silent mistake when a camera preset recall failed due to the camera device being unreachable
- Fixed installer quiet mode to be quiet again
Titler
- Fixed re-opening titler no longer showing the proper preview background
Radio
- Fixed removing a microphone link to an auto-titling entry while editing the same entry showing a warning. Instead, a confirmation is displayed to either cancel the unbinding, or validate it, but lose the current edition
- Fixed conflict when receiving a message triggering a titling update while already changing a scene due to a previous event.
- Fixed REFRAME mode releasing the camera to the AI too fast, so that a preset recall may be done on the same camera before the edited preset was actually saved.
Assist
- Fixed Assist Remote no longer showing scenes
