You will find here the information about our latest releases.
The required drivers versions for the 10.5 releases are:
- Blackmagic's drivers accepted:
- 15.0
- 15.1
- 15.2
- 15.3
- 15.3.1
Please note that the legacy auto-framing implementation has been removed due to incompatibility with semi-modern nvidia GPUs (since about 2023 without being technical).
Version 10.5.3 – 2026/10/06
FEATURES
Radio / Conf
- Added the “Ignore dead zones until the framing has settled” option to continuous auto-framing (default is disabled). Each axis (nose, ears line, zoom) keeps being corrected until it stays within a fraction of its dead zone, then its dead zone applies again. The thresholds are set per axis, 0.5 by default. Please note that the dead zone “Delay” setting is disabled while this option is on. The option also applies to continuous auto-framing started from Studio.
- Added the “Recall the preset if no face before going live” option, below “Using last reframed shot preset” (default is enabled). When no face is visible at the last auto-framed position right before going live, the AI recalls the shot’s original preset instead of putting an empty frame on air.
Pilot
- Added the reading of SPIRIT robot alerts when a robot connects or reconnects (Polyscole 1.8 or later). Errors that already existed, such as “magnetic stripe not detected” or “track sensor inverted”, are now shown immediately and stop running sequences, as when the robot sends them. Added the “lens disconnected” and “motor driver error” camera errors, and one error per axis limit (for example “Pan limit max reached”).
- Added a camera error when a SPIRIT dolly is not in Motion Control mode: “dolly in Manual mode” or “dolly in Degraded Position mode” (Polyscole 1.8 or later).
- Added a “SAVE NOT ALLOWED” warning: saving a preset or a sequence preset is refused while an axis of a SPIRIT robot is at its limit. The message lists the axes to move away from their limit, and the preset recording mode stays active so you can try again.
- Improved the joystick, camera settings and “!” (camera errors) buttons: clicking one of them again now closes the panel it opened. The joystick and camera settings buttons stay highlighted while their panel is shown.
BUGFIXES
General
- Fixed streaming going into error when the video took more than 2 seconds to reach a stable frame rate after the stream started. The allowed delay is now 5 seconds (already shipped in 10.5.2.1-hotfix-1).
- Fixed camera and streaming credentials being written in clear in the logs, which are sent with crash reports. Network camera user names and passwords, RTMP and WMV credentials, RTMP stream keys and SRT passphrases are now masked.
- Fixed records and streams being closed many times over when the application shuts down after a crash, which delayed the crash report.
- Attempted a fix for a rare crash when stopping a recording, as the end-of-recording pop-in opens.
- Fixed a SPIRIT head sometimes taking more than 10 seconds to report a recalled position as reached, although it was already in position. In Pilot, the sequence being prepared could stay not prepared.
- Fixed a selected medialist item being skipped, and the next one played instead (or nothing at the end of the list), when the selection from the API, Assist or Studio came a few milliseconds before the end of a previous item set to pause on its last frame.
- Fixed clicking Play on the current item of a medialist starting the next item instead, after coming back from another medialist while auto-take is enabled and the previous item was paused on its last frame.
- Fixed new rooms using by default a Multicam TURN server that is no longer in service, which could slow down or block WebRTC connections. New rooms now start with an empty “Turn configuration”, and rooms using that server have it removed during the upgrade. A TURN server of your own is kept.
Radio / Conf
- Fixed the custom microphone layout being reset to a grid when reopening the wizard to add microphones after the module was closed.
- Fixed unchecking “Restricted to specific angles of shots” disabling continuous auto-framing on every shot type instead of enabling it on all of them. Important: a configuration saved with this box unchecked reopens with the box checked and no shot type selected. Uncheck the box again, or select the shot types, then save.
Conf
- Fixed the connection to Audio-Technica ATDM consoles being duplicated after each network timeout, which flooded the logs.
Pilot
- Fixed a prepared sequence becoming impossible to play when a SPIRIT Control Panel was switched off or disconnected.
Titler
- Fixed a crash when an RSS feed contains an image with a relative or invalid address, for example in an <enclosure> tag.
Version 10.5.2 – 2026/08/24
FEATURES
General
- Improve the scanline selection to use when recording an interlaced output.
Radio / Conf
- Add face height difference filter (default is disabled). This helps select the correct person in a frame by removing persons visible in monitor etc… This can be adjusted by using the “Max head delta” field in the advanced auto-framing interface. Important: do not use the “unzoom” target lost option when using this filter.
BUGFIXES
General
- Fixed h264 on GPU allowing interlaced scanline for Turing and newer nVidia GPUs. They removed this ability some time ago.
- Fixed auto-start being triggered after refreshing a license.
- Switching scenes or playlists in quick succession could silently drop a playlist's video from the mixer, sometimes until a restart. Scene switches are now processed one at a time, which eliminates the problem.
Assist
- Fixed Assist window being sometime initially displayed outside of Windows’ desktop area. That may happen after changing the monitors setup (using EDID or move the monitors in Windows’ settings).
Radio / Conf
- Fixed minimum score not being applied dynamically when testing continuous auto-framing in the settings’ advanced editor.
Version 10.5.1 – 2026/07/28
FEATURES
General
- Fix missing runtime in installer; this resulted in Multicam crashing as soon as it opened under a very specific system configuration.
BUGFIXES
General
- Fix attempt for NDI inputs being listed on the Video Hub configuration UI when no SDI inputs are available. The “refresh” button should be visible too.
