Version 10.6.0 – 2026/11/02
FEATURES
General
- Signed Multicam Suite and its installers with the Multicam Systems SAS certificate. Multicam Suite now starts on computers where Windows Smart App Control or an App Control for Business (WDAC) policy is active, and the installers show “Verified publisher: Multicam Systems SAS”. Please note that third-party files their publisher does not sign are covered by signed security catalogs installed with Multicam Suite: Windows still shows them as unsigned in their file properties.
- Updated the .NET 8 runtimes to 8.0.33 to fix vulnerabilities CVE-2026-111497, CVE-2026-70197 and CVE-2026-114148 (already shipped in 10.5.4.1-hotfix-1).
BUGFIXES
General
- Fixed the full setup never installing the WebView2 runtime on computers where it was missing, mostly older or LTSC editions of Windows 10. Without it, Pilot could not show the camera web page. The full setup now installs WebView2 156 where it is missing (introduced in 10.0.0, already shipped in 10.5.4.1-hotfix-1).
- Fixed the axis positions shown on the SPIRIT Control Panel screens being wrong on axes with a wide range, and missing at start-up on SPIRIT robots until the axis moved. Please note that on Canon, Panasonic and Sony cameras, the position can still be missing until the axis moves. This will be improved in a later version.
Radio
- Fixed the microphones of a Lawo console (Ember+) never becoming active on air when “Use tree mode” was unchecked, although the settings detected them. The option is removed: Lawo consoles always use tree mode.
- Fixed errors in the data received from Lawo and DHD consoles (Ember+) not being written in the logs.
Radio / Conf
- Fixed MAINTENANCE being requested at every start, with a “has been replaced by” message, on some hybrid inputs, such as a SPIRIT Head with no camera element. Existing presets are kept.
- Fixed a camera slowly drifting away from the speaker for several seconds during continuous auto-framing, after the face had entered the dead zone, and not stopping when the target was lost with the “Stop” reaction. Please note that this only happened with a non-zero integral gain (Ki).
Pilot
- Fixed saving a preset or adding one to a Sequence doing nothing, and blocking the camera’s Sequences until Pilot was closed, when an axis of a SPIRIT robot was in fault. The save is now refused with a “SAVE NOT ALLOWED” warning naming the axis, and the camera shows an error such as “Z axis in fault.”. The save is also refused when the camera does not report its position within 5 seconds.
