To avoid and anticipate Audio/Video issues, the video format of the cameras and the format of the project in MultiCam so that they are in same worflow : 1080 50i, 720 50p ect....
When the cameras have different video formats to the project, this can cause problems.
With NDi streamed cameras, check the stream reception and video format
Via Studio Monitor in NDi Tools, you can see the stream of NDi cameras and their format.
And to access the full video stream configuration to see the selected frequency, encoding, frame rate and resolution, click on the wheel at the bottom right of the Ndi Monitor window.
this will open the camera's web interface directly.

Here, the complete configuration of the camera's video stream:
- Frequency: 60Hz
- Fps: 30 frames per second
- Resolution: 1920*1080
- Bitrate: 4000 kbps
We can use PotPlayer to check the Rtsp Stream and full configuration for stream video
Once downloaded, installed and launched, click on "PotPlayer" in the top left corner > open > open URL
fill in the rtsp link of the caméra. Click on ENTER to retrieve the video stream
Then, to see the full configuration of the camera's video stream, click again on :
Potplayer > playback/system informations
- Fps : 25 frames / secondes
- Bitrate : 4000 kbps
- Resolution : 1920*1080
MultiCam project Format
You should also check the project format in Multicam.
Connect to the Multicam settings, choose the desired room and look at the bottom right: here the project format is 1080i50
