Make a configuration where Air Bridge sends the video streams of the remote guests in NDI and the audio streams via Dante with RADIO and validate the automatic realisation via the Audio-Detector

 

List of software used:

- Multicam - Radio

- Air Bridge6

- DVS (Dante Virtual SoundCard)

- Dante Controller

- Dante Via

- Audio-Detector

 

1. Machines Configuration 

1.a In the Air Bridge machine: 

- Install the Air Bridge soft

- Install DVS (Dante Virtual SoundCards) with Licence 

 Launch DVS, choose the network interface for connect it and Start it

DVS IP Adresse: 192.138.111.184

Here, 2 guests are connected with the DVS Interfaces : 

Guest 1: Channel 1-2

Guest 2: Channel 3-4

 

1.b In the Multicam - Radio Machine 

- Install Multicam Soft with RADIO

- Install DVS with Licence

- Install Dante Controller 

 Launch DVS, choose the network interface for connect it and Start it

Launch also Dante Controller and choose with which interface you connect it

 

 

Now, the video settigns in the Multicam to retrieve the video stream of the guests.

1.c Machine with Dante Via

Dante Via is software that delivers unprecedented multi-channel routing of computer-based audio, allowing a wide range of applications and devices to be networked and interconnected

Dante Via ensures synchronization of all Dante-enabled devices in the network (clocking)

It must be installed in a machine  in the same network as Air Bridge and Radio.
Dante via cannot work at the same time with DVS in the same machine

Exemple: 

We have the machine Dev 3: 192.168.111.174

In Dante Via, Launch and Start it only. there is no configuration necessary 

 

2. Configuration Dante Controller

In Dante Controller, configure The frequency, Latency and Encoding

All devices must be on the same frequency, otherwise the sync will fail.

For configure, select Device View and choose the device to configure

 

 

After configuring the devices. We can start routing of the channels of the different connected devices

- When  subscription in established we have : Green symbol

- When it's not estableshed, we have! : Red Symbol

3. Audio-Detector

Auto-detector installed in the RADIO machine. It's embeded also in the Multicam soft 

- Define the http port (here 8080)

- Add DVS Receiver 1-2 and 3-4 interfaces. 

For Audio-Detector configuration => Audio Detector 

We can see the modulation of the sound, so the routing is good, we can finish activating the automation of the RADIO

In RADIO, int the "Program" Tab. We retrieve the auto-detector config for automation

 

Now we can check the automation in the workspace
