Numbers of channels.
Axia Livewire driver supports up to 24 in/out channels. You can choose the required license with 1, 4, 8, or 24 in/out channels. Please, visit the Telos Alliance website for details.
How to calculate the required numbers of channels for your case.
First, you have to define what type of audio console connection you will use.
Embedded multiCAM Audio Detector.
Embedded multiCAM Audio Detector is a part of multiCAM RADIO license. All configurations you create inside the RADIO settings.
In this case, the calculation will be: number of microphones + 1 PGM + number of external audio inputs (if needed).
For example, for 3 microphones in the studio: 3 +1 + 0 = 4 livewire channels needed.
Remote multiCAM Audio Detector.
If Remote Audio Detector is installed on the multiCAM unit, the calculation is the same as for Embedded multiCAM Audio Detector.
If Remote Audio Detector is installed on a separate unit you will need 2 Livewire drivers: 1 for Audio Detector (channels = numbers of microphones ) and 1 for multiCAM (PGM in).
For example, for 3 microphones in the studio: Server-1 with 3 livewire channels and multiCAM unit with 1 livewire channel.
Axia Pathfinder.
For this case, you will need only 1 livewire channel for PGM on multiCAM unit.
