StreamDeck configuration

This article will give you the information in order to activate and setup the StreamDeck panel.

Web API activation

First, you need to open the main settings of the system. Click on the gear in the right bottom corner and enter your password.

Go to the SYSTEMS and choose API tab.

In WEB API in SERVER CONFIGURATION area enable server and cross-origin requests. Also, choose the authentication method: USER ACCOUNTS OR/AND MACHINE ADDRESS.

Create a new user in API USER ACCOUNTS area if you use User account authentification.

Or add the IP address of the machine where you plan to use Web Remote.

Note: If you change the Authentification method you should restart the MultiCam app.

Save changes and restart the MultiCam app.

StreamDeck configuration

First, download COMPANION software and create an account (free)

launch COMPANION and click Launch GUI 

Open Instances tab and push on Add by category button.

And choose “Generic HTTP Requests”. Add Lable (you can give custom name) and Base URL in the format: http://’multicam_ip_addres’:’multicam_api_port’/api (for example http://127.0.0.1:80/api) and push Apply changes.

After, you should see status ‘OK’ in instances:

After you can create different buttons with different commands and interfaces in the Buttons tab.

Note: All API commands you can find SETTINGS=>SYSTEM=>API=>Web API

Connect your StremDeck panel to PC. Check connections in Surfaces tab.

All custom buttons will download to the panel automatically.
