Introduction
API Demo, is a tool to send information from API on the MULTICAM. It can be install on another computer connect to the same network as the multicam.
To access the API Demo, you have two ways to authenticate requests:
- IP Address: only machine(s) with given IP will have access to the API
- User and key: you should retrieve a Token from the API with you user/key and then, pass the Token along all requests you do.
You can choose to use either or both, but at least one method must be selected in the multicam.
Connect to API Demo
To use this tool, you will need to enter several information:
- Multicam address : Add multicam IP and port (example: 192.168.10.100:80).
- API user/password : If you chose to use user accounts authentication. If user accounts is not selected in the multicam, leave this slot empty.
Once it's informative, press to connect.
If the information entered in the front parts is good, you will see the version number of the multicam. (For the Demo API to work, multicam must be started).
Use API Demo
Application
- Start application : With "start application" you can choose if you want to launch the studio, radio in situ, Conf, E-Learning or Tracking.
- Rooms :To choose the rooms you wish to apply in the multicam.
- Application templates : select to templates in the multcam.
- Auto/man mode : Switch the radio mode from AUTO/MAN.
Recording
- Recording : You can choose to start or stop a recording.
- Duration : You can choose the recording time. At the end of this time, the recording will stop automatically.
Streaming
- Selected catalog: You can select the stream set you created in the mutlicam before.
Video mixer
- Select source: You can select the source you want to program.
Medialist
- Medialists : You can select a medialists that is in the multicam.
- Media in file : You can select a file that is in the medialists.
Composer
- Composer files: You can select a composition that you have configured before in multicam.
- Compos in file: You can select the desired media in your playlist from your medialist.
Titler
- Titler files: you can choose the title set.
- Elements in file: you can choose an elements in the title set.
- Speakers in file and Select Speaker data: If you created a speaker or panel in the multicam you could select it. Once selected, you can edit or add give.
- Tickers in file and Ticker data: If you created a tickers in the multicam you could select it. Once selected, you can edit or add give.
Scenes
- Scenes files : You can select a scenes that you have configured before in multicam.
- Scenes in file : You can select the desired media in your playlist from your medialist.
Studio
- Presets for : You can select a camera to apply a preset.
In Situ
- Markers : You can select a TAG.
- Layouts : You can select a Layout.
- Presets for : You can select a camera to apply a preset.
Radio
- Preset branks : You can select a camera to apply a preset.
Conf
- Preset branks : You can select a camera to apply a preset.
Publisher
- Recordings: In this part, you will find all the recordings that you have made.
- Workflows: You will find all the workflows that you have created in the multicam. Select a record if on and then run.
